This is a book about the English Gypsies in the later 1800’s and is quite informative and far ranging, giving a background to the Gypsies their culture and their language and some on the facts that are reveals are quite fascinating .There are tales of folklore and the Nomads wisdom, passages in their own language, and some of the vocabulary which has been absorbed into modern day language and its derivatives. A book written over a hundred years ago, but just as relevant today in many ways as it was then. A fascinating and absorbing read.
