The subject of Intimacy with Angels is highly controversial. Yet virtually all of our ancestors were concerned with the issue of having union with, and then having offspring with, something from that middle space, the space between the human and the divine, the space where we find Angels.
This topic will confront us with some very powerful questions: Are we here to make an impact and change things, to create new things that have never existed before? Is this really our proper role? What is Intimacy between humans and Angels? Why is an Intimate Relationship between humans and Angels a necessary thing? There is a human realm and an Angelic realm and we’re obviously dealing with the issue of boundaries, observing proper boundaries, when we discuss intimacy between the two realms.
A Biblical account of intimacy between men and Angels tells us that Angels known as Sons of God, looking at the daughters of men, found them pleasing, so they married whomever they chose, and as many as they chose. Why would the first intimacy between humans and Angels produce giants, and destructive ones at that? Is it inherently unnatural for there to be a union between the human and the Angelic realm?
When a human being no longer accepts the natural order of things, the givens that preceded or came before, but instead intervenes with his or her consciousness, that’s being intimate with an Angel.
The principle of intervention in life, the principle of having union with an Angel and creating a new offspring, is part of the executive function of consciousness. Simply taking things lying down is not healthy for human beings, we were meant to be active, and to use our knowledge to prosper.
