Google Analytics is a great tool which does not show the counter on your web page, but you can see the statistics on your Google Analytics account page. If you don't subscribe to Apple's .Mac you can't use iWeb's built in hit counter.

Then you need to add a bit of hidden code with your Google Analytics Account ID (like UA-8765432-1) to your web pages.

This is how you can use the Add Google Analytics Automator Action.
