Apex Racing is a simple racing game in which the object is to avoid all the obstacles on the track. You are free to use the built-in levels, or make your own. Racing Reflexes Test your reflexes as you dodges the obstacles flying towards you as you zip down the track in this fast-paced, text-based racing game that hearkens back to the era of F1 on the TI-83. Old School Many a math student wasted hours in class playing a racing game on their calculator where the level was drawn in text and scrolled past as you moved left and right. Apex Racing is a recreation of this game on the Mac. Customizable It's easy to make your own levels, simply by creating a text file where * are the obstacles and blank spaces are the track where you drive. Challenge your friends to see who can get the best high scores on the levels you create. |
