Once a paradise, Mata Nui has become a place of darkness and fear ruled by the dark spirit, Makuta. Now six mighty heroes, the Toa, have come to gather Masks of Power and challenge Makuta. Explore the island, learn the legends… and begin to solve the mystery of BIONICLE.

Playing as the Toa, you explore six elementally-themed regions of Mata Nui - a tropical paradise of high mountains, great lakes and mighty volcanoes - rescue the scattered Matoran, the people of Mata Nui and break the spell of darkness cast by Makuta. In doing so you will face danger in equal measure from the islands many natural hazards (including falling rocks, rainforest winds, icicles and lava falls) and the foul minions of Makuta.

The time has come for you to emerge from behind your mask. The fate of Mata Nui is now in your hands…

Six bosses and one final boss to confront and defeat.

Puzzles to test players' wits and fast-paced levels that find the player surfing lava, snowboarding down mountains and racing across the desert.

Detailed storyline with the satisfying final goal of defeating the ultimate evil boss, Makuta.
