Blixx 2.1

A fast-paced, easy to learn game of bursting bubbles.
To start playing Blixx try hit the blue bubbles within the ball and paddle, or shoot them with a bullet.

Just don't let them touch the paddle. If a bubble hits the paddle, however, a life is lost. There are also falling bonus squares and acid rain, which must not hit the paddle, with which to contend.

Blixx includes 15 levels of increasing difficulty. There are also difficulty settings and 3 practice modules to bring you up to speed in a hurry. A "Hall of Fame" stores the players highest scores. Two bonus levels are also included. Blixx is an easy to learn but challenging game.

Users will most likely take several days of playing to complete the 15th level.






Requirements:

G3 or newer CPU

RAM: 256 MB.

15 MB Hard Drive Space.

Minimum 800x600 monitor (17inch or larger).


What's New in This Release:

Pictures and sounds are initialized at startup to avoid pauses during game play.

Add a ricochet bullet (c) but don't let the bounce back hit your paddle.

Bubbles no longer slow down as the round progresses

Bullet adding drops don't appear if player has > 15 bullets

Compiled as Universal Binary to run natively on Intel Macs
