CamCamX virtualizes the built-in iSight webcam in your MacBook or iMac so you can use all your favorite camera applications AT THE SAME TIME.

In fact, our pretty good iSight emulator technology works with every Mac webcam application we've tested (except for iChat which needs an additional tool iChatUSBCam. Once iChatUSBCam is installed, you may select CamCamX as your camera input.

CamCamX is also fast. Each pixel from the hardware device is copied just once, no matter how many camera applications are running. You may find that your favorite cam apps load and run faster. CamCamX also can adjust the incoming camera picture for very low light environments, allowing you to chat in almost total darkness.

Additionally, you can toggle a BRB (be right back) picture for turning off the camera stream temporarily while you step out, change your shirt or blow your nose.
