The iTunes style scrolling still image generator plugin for Final Cut Pro, Motion and Final Cut Express.

We have all seen the gorgeous scrolling image carousel that iTunes and now the Leopard finder uses. CoverFlux will reproduce that effect for still images by creating movies & project files for FCP, FCE & Motion.

Craziliy-Big.jpgCoverFlux takes a folder of up to 25 images and automatically displays them in the 3D fan style of Cover Flow. The reflection, preview stack and displayed stack are all calculated automatically.

Note: The plugin requires free registration.

Main features of CoverFlux:

  • One click setup to load images.
  • Display images in 3D with reflection, ability to move viewpoint in 3D during animation.
  • Toggle file name visibility on/o?.
  • Alphabetical order or custom order of images - no iPhoto or Aperture round tripping

  • FxFactory
  • Mac computer with G5 or Intel processor
  • Final Cut Studio 2, Final Cut Pro version 6.0 or later, Motion version 3.0 or later, Final Cut Express version 4.0 or later
  • For best performance, a graphics card with a minimum of 256MB video memory is recommended
