Steps on how to add Buddies on Adium

Open Adium, and then in the Menu Bar Click Contact > Add Contact. You can also access this by typing command D.

A window should appear that displays a field for Screen Name and Alias. Under Contact Type select the service that your Contact is using (AIM, Yahoo, Google, ect). If one of the services does not show up in the list, you need to add an account for that service.

Fill out Screen Name - the account name or e-mail Alias - the name you want displayed Group - a classification system of contacts Accounts - what accounts you would like to use when Instant messaging with this contact.

Click "Add" and the contact will appear in your contacts window.
