If you want to log in Adium, you should either have an existing name and password, or you need to sign up for an account on the service of your choice.

It's easy to log in Aidum with your existing name and password. In this article, it will discuss how to create an account to log in Adium for Mac.

Creating an account

When you want to log in Adium for Mac, you need sign up your account. Do as follows:

1. Open your web browser.



2. Register an account.
   
   Enter Adium website or Meebo to choose one service you want to use to register or sign up an account.
   
   Notes: You'll only be able to communicate with users (also called 'contacts') on a service if you have an account on that service.
   In other words, you'll need an AIM account to talk to AIM users, an MSN account to talk to MSN users, etc. You can have as many accounts, on as many services, as you want, and they can all be signed on with Adium simultaneously.



3. Create your service account.
   
   You can do as the register process to create your service account.

After you have sign up your service account, you can log in Adium (once you have signed up for it -- see below):

1. Launch Adium.
   
   You can click the Adium icon on the desktop or open Adium from Start menu.
   
   
   
   
2. Choose Adium service.
   
   Then you will enter into this window, and click Continue button to go forward.




Select the type of account you want to enter in Adium.





3. Log in Adium.
   
   Imput your account ID and code, then you have logged in Adium for Mac.
