LimeWire can help you. You can use LimeWire to download music or others you like, and then make a CD. Note that LimeWire, as a fact of matter, can't burn CD and you need media player to help you.

How to use LimeWire to make a CD

Download files with LimeWire.

1. Open LimeWire.

Use the resources link below to download and launch the free LimeWire program. If you have installed LimeWire, you can click LimeWire icon on the dock to launch LimeWire.

2. Search files to be burned to CD.

• Click once on the "Audio" section on the "Search" tab.

• Choose one or more "Audio" categories to search from: Title, Artist, Album, Genre and/or License Type.

• Type the information for which you want to search in the appropriate category fields. Click once on the "Search" button when finished.

• Click once on any audio file that you want to download from the search results.

• Click once on the "Download" button.

• Repeat steps above until you have as many songs as you want for your CD.

Make a CD using LimeWire.

1. Start Media Player.

Choose Media Player you want to open it. Then right-click once on the Windows "Start" button.

2. Search downloaded files folder in LimeWire.

Click once on the "Explore" option to the folder you use to store LimeWire music files on your computer.

Select all of the files you want to burn to a CD. To select more than one file, click once on a song and hold the "Ctrl" button down while clicking once individually on each additional file.

3. Use LimeWire to make a CD.

• Click once on the "Burn" button on the menu bar.

• Insert a blank CD into the CD burner drive on your computer when prompted to do so.

• Close the door on the drive.

• Enter a title for the CD in the "Disc Title" field when prompted to do so.

• Select the "Mastered" option under the "Show Formatting Options" section.

• Click once on the "Burn To Disc" button when the new window pops up with only the songs you selected to burn.

• Click once on the "Next" button on the "Burn To Disc" window after making any changes to the disc title or recording speed.

• Select the "Make an Audio CD" option, and click once on the "Next" button.

• Click once on the "Start Burn" button on the Windows Media Player window.

• Remove the disc from the drive when the process is finished. The drive will eject the disc automatically.
