After you've launched Safari, you can click File on the top of toolbar. From the drop-down list, you click Import Bookmarks.

In the new window you'll need to find where the bookmarks are stored. For example, Firefoxes bookmarks are usually stored in the Application Support files, something like /Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/Your Bookmarks. Once you've found the file, select it and click "Import".

Notes: If you can't find them, your browsers help files should point you in the right direction. You also might have to choose to export your bookmarks from the other browser before being able to select them to be imported into Safari.
After all has been done, you can import Bookmarks from other web browsers and imported bookmarks appear in the following bookmarks.
