A better way for playing a srt files on Windows Media Player
Windows Media Player for Mac can play most audio and video files like Windows Media(NetShow)、ASF、MPEG-1、MPEG-2、WAV、AVI、MIDI、VOD、AU、MP3.
The srt file is a subtitle file, not a video file.So you want to play a srt files, you must use your subtitles with your movie on Windows Media Player, you need to play the movie first.
Note:
You must keep the movie and srt subtitles in the same folder with the same name eg. westwind.mpeg and westwind.srt.Then you can see your subtitles in your movie.
