A Mozilla add-on that will improve mapping experience at Google Maps.
Fullmap is an extension designed to improve the maping experience at Google Maps, by providing different viewing options. With the click of a user-defined access key, you can switch between the default view, and one in which headers and sidebars which reduce the size of the map are removed.

The control buttons displayed on the map can also be hidden in this way. The switch between views can also be done using a toolbar button, which also has a drop-down menu to switch between map, satelite, and hybrid views, usefull when these buttons are hidden on the map.

The extension is available in a number of localisations, thanks to the translators at babelzilla.org, which include use of the map site for your country.

Even if a localisation is not available for your country, or if you prefer an alternate Google Maps site, this can be customized in the options pane for the extension.
