General Edit Classic Update creates a copy of General Edit 1.1v2 from your copy of General Edit 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2 or 1.1
Quadrivio General Edit is a tool for software engineers and others who deal with custom fileformats.

It allows you to view, edit, and analyze data directly, and itcan automatically check for out-of-range values. You define your fileformat with C-like statements; complex formats can be handled by thesyntax. Also edits data in application heaps and memory handles.

What's New in This Release:

  • changed operator "."to return a floating-point valuewhen current offsetis a non-zero bit offset within a byte
  • changed offset({x}) to interpret the fractional part of floating-point values for the expression "x" as fractions of an 8-bit byte
  • modifications to support HFS Plus volumes with files of size > 2 GB.
  • other minor enhancements
  • other bug fixes.
