GoodWay is the main software for generating flight plans for X-Plane. Imagine you have to travel, without road signs, without a compass, without a map even without a path. Chances are you'll be late, really late...

GoodWay is your map. It uses all of the navaids and the airports of X-Plane.
GoodWay allows you to create your own fight plan or it can generate one for you automatically.

Just select your departure and arrival airports and GoodWay will create the flight plan for you, and will even put you at the commands of the aircraft.

GoodWay: Three major assets
· The generation, simple and comprehensive of the flight plan (manual or automated) using only your mouse. The flight plans may be printed, visualized inside X-Plane and may even be automatically loaded into the onboard FMC.
· The automatic setting of X-Plane and of the onboard instruments in order to put you into flight condition. You can even download the real weather Metar file from the internet and select the departure runway.
· The flight analysis by path reckoning directly on the flight map. This very powerful option allows you to compare your actual flight path to the original flight plan.

· The creation of flight plans by simple drag & drop but also in full automatic mode, thanks to the embedded assistant.
· Your flight plans are 100% compatible with X-Plane ATC. The combination of the two will immerse you into an impressive virtual reality.
· GoodWay can configure X-Plane for your flight.

In GoodWay you can define the following parameters just before take off:
· Your Aircraft;
· Date an time;
· The use of real weather by downloading the Metar file from the internet;
· Export your flight plan in X-Plane format (staring from version 6.0.5) which allows you to check your flight plan during the flight;
· The departure runway and direction;
· You can even ask GoodWay to set your GPS and FMS and all the onboard instruments to match the flight plan parameters;
· And you can launch X-Plane automatically. Create your flight plan and GoodWay will put you in the cockpit.
