Send free texts via meteors free webtext without having to log in each time
JSMS is a free open source application which lets you quickly send text messages to any Irish mobile phone using your mobile operator webtext account. It supports Meteor.ie Vodafone.ie & O2.ie! Handy if you want to leave it open all the time on your computer to send the odd text!

In order to use this application, you must have a valid Meteor, O2 or Vodafone Ireland phone number and webtext password!


Main features of JSMS:

  • Phonebook function (in a text file).
  • No limit on the characters you may send (it breaks them up into separate messages).
  • Shows remaining messages (currently 300 per month on Meteor)
  • Enter your login details only once.
  • Very simple interface. Press 'Enter' to send the SMS.
  • Works behind https proxies (not fully tested with all types).


    Requirements of JSMS:

  • Java 1.5 or later
