JSudoku is a computer version of the popular puzzle game "Sudoku" written entirely in Java
JSudoku is a computer version of the popular puzzle game "Sudoku" written entirely in Java. The objective of the game is to fill in the 9x9 grid with the numbers 1-9 each appearing once in every row and column in addition to each 3x3 sub-box. JSudoku isn't just your regular Sudoku computer application! JSudoku will keep track of your best solving times for each difficulty level, and offers a "Submit best times to web" feature that sends your information to the SourceForge servers and stick your name on the JSudoku website. One other feature that is basically implemented, but definitely not bug-free, is a local-network multiplayer mode. In the game, an IP and port can be configured to match your network (localhost is used by default, and port 5000, I believe), and then everyone in your living area can enjoy a nice game of Sudoku - complete with a (very primitive) chat room messaging service!
