Adium vs ICQAdium is a software written using Mac OS X's Cocoa API, developed by the Adium team. Based on the libpurple protocol library. It can connect you to any number of messaging accounts on any combination of supported messaging services and then chat with other people using those services. ICQ is an instant messaging computer program, which was first developed by the Israeli company Mirabilis, now owned by Time Warner's AOL subsidiary.
