aMule VS BitTornado


aMule is a free peer-to-peer file sharing application that works with the EDonkey network and the Kad Network, offering similar features to eMule and adding others such as GeoIP (country flags).
aMule aims to be portable over multiple platforms and is doing this with the help of the wxWidgets library. Current supported systems include Linux, Mac OS X, various BSD-derived systems, Windows and Solaris.

Currently aMule supports a wide variety of platforms and operating systems, being compatible with more than 60 different hardware+OS configurations.



BitTornado Main Features

BitTornado is a BitTorrent client. A BitTorrent client is a program that manages torrent downloads and uploads using the BitTorrent protocol. BitTornado Main Features:

  • upload/download speed limitation;

  • prioritised downloading when downloading batches (several files);

  • detailed information about connections to other peers;

  • UPnP Port Forwarding (Universal Plug and Play);

  • IPv6 support (OS support required);

  • PE/MSE support as of version 0.3.18.
