PlugAdmin - Enable/disable Audio Plug-Ins on your computer
The number of plugins installed on computers is increasing rapidly. It occurs often that a plugin runs smoothly with one host software, but causes problems with another host software. PlugAdmin enables you to administrate all plugins that are installed on your computer (e.g. activate/deactivate).

The new Pro version also offers you features such as creating plugin groups and backup your plugins for data security. PlugAdmin Pro now supports the management of audio plugins as well as Adobe Photoshop plugins, Illustrator Plugins and InDesign plugins. PlugAdminPro also supports operating system plugins such as Input Manager and Preference Panels..

Main features of PlugAdmin:

  • Administration of AudioUnits (can be turned on and off)
  • Administration of MAS (MOTU DigitalPerformer) plugins (can be turned on and off)
  • Administration of RTAS (Digidesign ProTools) plugins (can be turned on and off)
  • Administration of VST plugins (can be turned on and off)
  • Create, save and load sets
  • Move plugins between global (computer, every user) and local path (for specific user only)
  • Backup plugins
  • Check for duplicates
  • Unlimited undo (back to the last activation action).


    Requirements of PlugAdmin:

  • G3 500 MHz or better / Intel.


    Limitations of PlugAdmin:

  • The number of recognized plug-ins is limited depending on the plug-in type (50, 10 or 5)
  • The application will display a warning after several action and stop for several seconds
