Snac Snac - A graphical user interface for scanimage
Snac 0.95Snac is a small utility that was designed as a GUI for scanimage. The program is small and limited in it's abilities, but it allows you scan a preview and to select an area from that preview to scan. You can also set the resolution and scanmode before scanning. Setting up Snac for your scanner involves quite a few steps, but nothing really difficult. You will still need to use the terminal to some extent (or, if you prefer, you can download Snac and use the links provided in the helpfile). Usage After Snac is properly setup, the actual usage is simple. Note however that the canceling of a scan sometimes freezes the scanner. Requirements: |
