A free and easy to use subtitles editor
Subs Factory is a complete application designed to create, adapt or modify film subtitles.

Subs Factory only recognizes .srt files yet. These files are fully compatible with VLC. Films can be in any format supported by QuickTime (including DivX if the suitable codec is installed).

Create your own subtitles, resynchronize them, translate them into another language, concatenate two files into one, split a file in two parts, Subs Factory makes it all possible to do all this fast and efficiently.

Main features of Subs Factory:

  • Creation, deletion and modification of subtitles (text, duration, position,...).
  • Shifting groups of subtitles.
  • Splitting and concatenation of subtitle files.
  • In English, French and Italian.


    Requirements of Subs Factory:

  • QuickTime and the suitable codecs


    What's New in This Release:

  • Controls palette added (for play, pause,...).
  • Keyboard shortcuts for movie control added, the spacebar can also be used to play and stop the video.
  • Encodings are now handled.
  • .sub files can now be opened (subtitles dated by image number).
  • Locking the duration while editing is now possible.
  • Closing the current project now allowed.
  • English language corrections.
  • Some minor bugs corrected.
