Utilitunes 2.1

Tool for iTunes to update album artwork, lyrics, tablature and more
Utilitunes extracts the currently playing song, artist, and album from iTunes and searches different websites for artwork, lyrics, liner notes, and tablature.

Use Utilitunes to display, save, and update artwork, liner notes, lyrics, and tablature through Utilitunes.

If Utilitunes still does not find the correct artwork, lyrics, or tablature, hit the "Google it" button to perform a more specific search using Safari and everyone's favorite search engine.

Drag and drop artwork from the web browser to Utilitunes. Cut and paste lyrics/tablature. As always, Utilitunes will save the new information.

Utilitunes can also control iTunes. Start and stop, skip forward, or rewind/go back.

Main features of Utilitunes:

  • Album Artwork- Displays artwork for currently playing track and searches Amazon.com for artwork. Can update the artwork for the current song or all songs on the album. Supports drag and drop.
  • Liner Notes- Displays additional information about the album including date released, label, track names, and a review. Supports cut and paste.
  • Lyrics- Searches lyrictracker.com for lyrics. Displays a 'browser' for all of the lyrics available at lyrictracker. Supports cut and paste. Lyrics can be saved to file or to the iTunes track.
  • Tablature- Searches lyrictracker.com for lyrics. Displays a 'browser' for all of the lyrics available at lyrictracker. Supports cut and paste. Lyrics can be saved to file or to the iTunes track.


    Requirements of Utilitunes:

  • iTunes 5.0 or higher.

  • 15 days trial
