The aim behind all that: Vector graphics are small and highly flexible. Now it makes sense to plot a small sketch and scale it up lossles for further use in advertisements, printing or other professional use.

Only smallest amounts of data are used. It is this flexibility which makes vector graphics especially in the webdevelopement very interesting in the future because they save loading time and precious memory.

So far it was only possible to process the sketches from the notepad as pixelgraphics (PDF, JPG, PNG, etc.). Therefore options of further processing were highly constricted.

Vector based sketches in contrast offer infinite options that nobody in the media and printing branch want's to miss anymore. They continue gaining Importance in future.
